More Information: A former police officer, Gwen brings procedural skills to the team and a sensitivity that helps them greatly in dealing with victims. Her ability to co-ordinate activity has led to her being recognised as the team's deputy leader.

More Information: The Weevils are a race of savage alien humanoids found in Cardiff, presumably due to the Cardiff Rift. They are roughly humanoid in shape and size, but were a bit taller and had flattened faces with many sharp, fang-like teeth.

More Information: Myfanwy is a pteranodon kept by Torchwood 3 as a pet. It was originally found hunting in the countryside, killing sheep at night. Eventually, Ianto Jones was able to trap it in a warehouse and persuaded Jack Harkness to help him catch it.

More Information: Sex Gas is a type of intelligent cloud of gas, one of which came to Earth in an meteorite which fell near Cardiff and possessed a local girl named Carys Fletcher after being released accidentally by Gwen Cooper.

More Information: Lisa Hallett worked at Torchwood Tower in London during the time of the Battle of Canary Wharf. Along with many others of the Torchwood personnel she was partially upgraded into a Cyberman. Not a victim of the full cyber-conversion process, she had Cyber-technology added on to her Human body. After the battle, her boyfriend, Ianto Jones, also in the employ of the Torchwood Institute, transported her to Torchwood 3 in Cardiff.

More Information: In 1953 Diane Holmes was a pilot. On December 18th she, John Ellis and Emma-Louise Cowell were on their way to Dublin. But somehow the plane flew through the Cardiff Rift and ended up in present day Cardiff. Diane and Owen had a relationship, but she decided to fly away and try to find the Rift again, to get back to 1953. Whether she succeeded, or if she was killed or otherwise lost in the attempt, remains unknown.

More Information: Abaddon was a Demon and the son of the Beast, imprisoned beneath the Cardiff rift. The shadow of Abaddon killed any person who it fell upon and fed upon their life energy. Only the undying Jack Harkness stood in his way. The Demon died in the process due to the excess life.

More Information: The Cash Cow was a large creature used for illegal meat production near Cardiff. It was believed to have been taken from the sea when it was small, but due to a mutation which caused it to constantly grow it soon reached a massive size and nearly filled up the warehouse it was kept in. This mutation allowed the producers to harvest meat from it while it was still alive, as it would just grow back.

In the early 21st century, it used the newly resurrected Owen Harper as a gateway into the Universe, and possessed him repeatedly. While doing so, it repeated the same words in a strange language. Durac then arrived at a hospital, having taken taken possession of Owen's body. It was required to claim 13 souls so it could enter the universe completely.

The Nostrovites, in their natural form, appeared to vaguely resemble a near-Human, but with red eyes, sharp claws and teeth, and visible blood vessels. Nostrovites were carnivores, but only ate living flesh and would normally ignore corpses.

During that time he had stared into the heart of a Dark Star and what he had seen had driven him mad, resulting in him screaming continuously for a period of 20 hours each day.
